Great boots, plus they add some height.

I'm all about the style of these boots, but I'm not gonna lie, the extra height is a nice bonus. The lug sole is thick and adds a solid 1.5 inches, maybe more. It's not like wearing obvious platforms; it just feels substantial and gives you a better, taller stance. The sole is surprisingly balanced, too—I don't feel like I'm wobbling. It's a confidence-booster, for sure. They just make you feel powerful when you walk. Came for the style, staying for the added stature

It's all about that red welt and the sole.

Two details sold me on this boot, and they're even better in person. First, that little pop of red stitching (or welt, whatever it is) between the brown leather and the black sole. It’s subtle, but it's everything. It just breaks up the boot perfectly and gives it such a custom look. Second, the sole itself. It's a modern, chunky design that looks amazing from the side profile. It's the perfect contrast to the more classic, burnished upper. Those two details take it from a 'nice boot' to a 'wow boot

More than just a pretty face.

I bought these because they looked tough, and I needed something that could handle city winters without looking like a pair of clunky snow boots. The grip on this lug sole is fantastic. We had our first wet, sleety day, and I felt completely secure walking around downtown—no slipping. The thick sole also does a great job of keeping your feet off the cold pavement. I gave them a quick spray of weatherproofer, and they’ve handled light rain and puddles like a champ. They're stylish, yes, but they're also super functional.

You can feel the quality

As someone who appreciates good construction, I’m seriously impressed. This isn't your typical mall fashion boot. The leather is thick, smells amazing, and you can tell the burnishing was done by hand. The stitching is immaculate, especially the red welt detail which just pops. The sole is an absolute tank. These boots feel solid and substantial, like they're actually built to last for years, not just a season. You can tell they didn't cut corners on the materials. I've paid more for boots from 'heritage' brands that didn't feel this well-made. Solid investment.

Absolute showstoppers!

I've been looking for a 'statement' boot for this season, and man, did these deliver. The pictures don't even do them justice. The burnished coffee color is incredibly rich, and the double-strap design is just plain cool. They're aggressive but in a very high-fashion way. I was a little worried the lug sole would be too chunky, but it's balanced perfectly. I've worn them three times, and I’ve genuinely gotten compliments every single time. Paired them with black jeans and a leather jacket, and the whole outfit just clicked. They are heavy, but that’s the vibe. 10/10 on pure style.

What is your manufacturing process?

It takes at least 150 manual steps to make a pair of DIVINCH shoes. Our highly skilled and dedicated artisans either execute the step by hand (as in the cutting of leather and application of the soles) or with the help of a hand-operated machine. The entire process takes between 1 to 2 weeks to complete since we don't cut corners and pay extra attention to every detail in order to guarantee the longevity of our products and your continued satisfaction.

What size should I order?

If you know your Brannock device size (the measurement tool you see in shoe stores), order that size. If you don’t know this size, but have dress shoes from other high-end brands, use that size. For reference, see our size chart. Please contact Customer Service if you need a personalized recommendation. All of our shoes are made with a standard D width, however, if you require a wide or slender fit, we might be able to accommodate you: If you have a wide foot, such as an E width, going up a half size should work for you (for example if you are a size 9E, order 9.5 with us). If you have a slender foot, such as a C width, going down a half size should work for you (for example if you are a size 9C, order 8.5 with us).

How long does it take to break-in the shoes?

Generally, your shoes should be comfortable straight out of the box and require little or no break-in period. However, it’s a personal experience which depends on your foot shape, making sure you have the correct size, the types of socks you wear and the way you walk. If you find the shoes too stiff at first, don’t worry - they’ll soften and conform to the shape of your feet over time. If you experience any discomfort, we recommend you wear your shoes indoors before wearing them for a long period outside. If it persists, please contact Customer Service.

If you are unfamiliar with your Brannock Device size, you can compare it with the sizes of other brands you usually wear (such as Cole Haan, Allen Edmonds, Nike, and Adidas) using the chart above to find the matching US size. Specifically, Allen Edmonds sizes correspond exactly to US sizes, while Nike or Adidas sizes require you to select a size 1 size larger than your US size.

3. All products come with a default width of standard D width (medium width). For special foot shapes, size adjustments are recommended:

- For wide feet (usually wear E-width shoes): It is advisable to choose a half size larger to avoid foot discomfort caused by a too-narrow shoe body.

- For narrow feet (usually wear C-width shoes): It is advisable to choose a half size smaller to prevent the shoe from being too loose and causing instability while wearing.
